As at 2015 when Goodluck Jonathan left office, PMS was sold at N87. Nine years later, PMS is going for N897, a whooping 1,031% increase under APC that vowed to burn down the country if they lost to PDP. Clearly, 9 years of APC is much more disastrous than 16 years of PDP..

I can always defend my vote for H.E Atiku Abubakar in 2023. At least I will go to sleep knowing I wasn’t part of the enablers of this failure we call government. We must get it right 2027!

In a truly deregulated petroleum sector, any petroleum marketer should be able to approach Dangote (or any seller) and buy petroleum products. NNPCL - the regulator/cartel - acting as middleman, is entirely unnecessary and will only lead to chaos and catastrophe down the road.

Even with all these antics plus whatever stunts INEC pulled nationwide, Tinubu's voting share was 36.6% - a minority now shrinking even further. It served Tinubu's interest in 2023 for the anti-APC opposition votes to be divided, and it will serve it again if repeated in 2027.

"The NNPCL executive said there is need for a perfectly competitive market to ensure stable fuel prices and supplies in Nigeria." But NNPCL insists on operating as Middleman/Govt backed Cartel/Regulator all at the same time. This thing is a perfect recipe for the chaos.

NNPCL's insistence on inserting itself into what should be a free-market buy and sell, while still being the regulator and official determiner of eventual price per litre and also a seller itself is just entirely detrimental to the consumers. This thing is messy.

I am immensely disheartened that the Federal Government under Tinubu's administration has failed to bestow upon the late Michael Akinkunmi, the creator of our national flag, the state burial he was so rightfully promised. No other patriot embodies the spirit of honour and
