Why nobody says that current age structure will provide population growth for at least 3 - 4 decades more?

Bearing in mind existing age structure, even the below replacement fertility doesn't mean population decline. So, don't interprete it in that manner 😉 Population momentum guarantees growth for at least 3 - 4 decades more.

Question for demographers and statisticians: Where can I find age- and gender-specific weekly mortality data by NUTS-2 or NUTS-1 region of GERMANY between 2015 and 2022? Thank you for all kinds of help!
