The Universities Accord recommended the reversing of the ideologically-driven fee hikes implemented by the Morrison government. Every year we leave these in place is a year we impose bigger debts on Arts graduates. Labor, do better:

Breaking news:

The NSW Legislative Assembly has voted against nuclear power having a future in the NSW energy mix.

Not one Liberal or National Party MP voted for or against that proposition.

Look if you reverse that iPad advert and put the fugue from the end of Britten's Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra over it, it becomes less of a horrific corporate nightmare.

Clare Heath-McIvor It takes an uncivilized debate to the next level - where it can now be peddled as a 'woke' censorship issue, rather than the ugly smear against human rights that it was. It demoralizes the public, regresses community attitudes, wastes resources - only to distract unhappy people.

Local Elections Australia You are not there to shape your community into one that conforms with your religious beliefs. You are there for your entire community. You chose censorship, judgement, exclusion

you donโ€™t deserve to govern if you canโ€™t separate church and state.

Families come in all shapes and sizes. Every single one is precious.

Supporting families is one of the best things local, state & federal governments can do.

Banning books about families is one of the worst things.

Cumberland Council, time to reverse this decision.

stranger It just not the car makers who closed down. Also, many of the suppliers and auxiliary industries closed down or moved overseas. Many of these were exporting to car plants in other countries. There was a massive not on effect.

ShiannonCorcoran๐Ÿ’‰x4 Itโ€™s always the same. Libs wreck everything but are voted in time & again because of the MSM. Labor finally get in gov & do their best to make a fairer society & correct the mess. But itโ€™s a big ask & the MSM again go after them & the voters fall for it. Libs get in etc etc.

Just donโ€™t expel them & dump them on some poor public school. If you get public funding you should deal with your own difficult students.

Richard Denniss Roen Davis Jim Chalmers MP also needs to raise the threshold for payment. When the Hawke government introduced HECS in 1989 payments started when graduates earned above the average wage. Now it is way below (the vindictive LNP making it progressively harder for those not born rich)
