Had an absolute blast on the diamonds with my @09Shockwaves 🐘 team in the fall! I've worked hard over the winter on improving all aspects of my game and can't wait to contribute to the Westfield Softball ☘️ high school program this spring! Fall Highlights:

A1: Reflection is Ss taking ownership of their learning by thinking about their strengths and weaknesses and how they can continue to grow #warrenbl

A2: Developing a growth mindset with Ss - celebrating mistakes and how we can learn from them! #warrenbl

A2: Allowing Ss to cheer each other on for their successes and giving encouragement when someone is struggling. #warrenbl

A3: Having authentic conversations with Ss about their data and teaching them how to understand what it means about how they are learning...always asking how can I improve? #warrenbl

A4: Having Ss track data over time...set meaningful skill base goals and provide opportunities for Ss practice these skills. #warrenbl

A5: Things like a data folder, digital portfolio (like Seesaw) , etc. can allow Ss to see their progress over time. Where they have been and where they are going. #warrenbl

Challenge: I have been getting more familiar with Zearn and how to use it to maximize Ss learning. I am excited to have Ss track and reflect on their learning using this tool! #warrenbl
