It was so lovely to see so many members of staff taking part in "Wear it green day" for Mental Health Awareness Week last week!

We’ve had two great sessions with the y6 pupils and their parents that will be joining us in September. Pupils have been given their new school bags already - that’s what we call prepared for learning!

We are pleased to announce that we have been successful in securing the Wellbeing Award for schools. This is a huge achievement and a testament to the efforts of everyone within our community.

All our staff and students have been working hard, developing skills and aspiring to be outstanding this term. As we come to the end of the school year, let’s take a look at how we’ve been changing lives in our video roundup!

We are proud to support Stem4's Youth Mental Health Day campaign, #ControlYourScroll. In assemblies this week, students will look at how their phones can affect their mental health, and what they can do to control it.

We are so incredibly proud of our Year 11 student Jessica L who came 6th in the Yorkshires this weekend. Making the final with a time of 31.65 for 50m fly! This is such a massive achievement. Congratulations Jess! #TeamDLA

Thank you to Yorkshire Sculpture Park for hosting our GCSE Art and Textiles students last week. They had an amazing time learning about sculpture and taking part in a variety of 'natural form' inspired workshops.
