This didn't age well. Perhaps he should have spoken to the female police officer whose nose his constituents broke in an extraordinarily violent attack, or the other officers who were repeatedly punched. Why just speak to the offenders and then take their side? Shameful for an

We need the law changing so that 50% of resident doctors have to vote for industrial action, not just a majority of the handful of activists who vote. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/07/0…

Have no doubt that the hard line militants in The BMA are deliberately misrepresenting "real term pay cuts." They are using RPI as if all their pay is spent on retail goods. They should be using CPI which tells a very different story. thetimes.com/uk/healthcare/…

A friend with close knowledge of the profession advises that the hours worked in 2008 were pre the EU time directive. So they want more pay for fewer hours. Junior doctors of today don’t handle anything like the workload that junior doctors worked back then.

A jobless person claiming sickness benefits will soon be paid £2,500 more a year than those working a minimum wage job, according to analysis published today. That is the extent of Labour's failure to tackle welfare reform.

Lot's of people on here are blaming the French for the number of illegal migrant crossings to the UK. Apparently it's all their fault, nothing to do with free four star hotels, free meals, free healthcare, pocket money, clothes, phones, and all for no work. Fix the pull factor!

Jake Berry, Farage's latest Tory traitor is pro net zero, anti Brexit and has been openly scathing of Farage in the past. Can't wait to see Reform explain this one to their "Tory UniParty" conspiracy theorists. If anything this is siphoning off Liberal minded corporatists.

Hey Wes here is an idea for you. Ask your junior doctors of today to work the hours of a band 3 junior doctor in 2008 for one month and then offer them pay restoration alongside the hours and see if they still want pay restoration to 2008?

How many more times will Reform "members" accept Farage kicking them in the goolies? First he kicks out every right wing Brexiteer who becomes popular. Then he brings in another liberal wet who voted Remain. He is the uni-party. standard.co.uk/news/politics/…

No nation can sustain an economy where benefits pay better than wages. Welfare reform is essential but we know Labour can not do it. They are incapable of governing effectively.
