Agradecemos ao Itamaraty Brasil 🇧🇷 Brazil Mission to the UN pelo apoio aos direitos dos #bahai's em votação da resolução sobre a situação de direitos humanos no Irã no Terceiro Comitê da Assembleia Geral da #ONU. Há 45 anos, os bahá'ís são perseguidos sistematicamente pelo gov iraniano.

Na ONU, o #Brasil disse que "continua preocupado com os relatórios de violações contra mulheres, defensores de DH, minorias religiosas e étnicas. Reiteramos nosso apoio aos direitos dos bahá'ís, e de outras minorias, de exercer sua fé livre e pacificamente sem qq discriminação."

A resolução que critica o gov iraniano por suas violações de #DireitosHumanos, incluindo contra a minoria religiosa #bahai, foi aprovada no Terceiro Comitê da Assembleia Geral da #ONU com 77 votos a favor.

It was learned on 25 August 2025 that the temporary detention order for Armaghan Yazdani, a Bahá’í residing in Shiraz, has been renewed for an additional 10 days. Ms. Yazdani has now been in custody for over a month. #ArmaghanYazdani #Bahai #HumanRights #Arrests #Imprisonments

On the evening of Monday 18 August 2025, Shahram Fallah, a 64-year-old Bahá’í resident of Kerman, was arrested by security agents from the Kerman Intelligence Department. Mr. Fallah was detained at his home and subsequently transferred to an intelligence detention center.
