Using four hands Scharwenka mapped the music onto the keyboard more playably than Liszt's superhuman two. This duo's strong, sensitive playing soon banished the orchestra original from my mind as I thrilled afresh to the force of Beethoven's inspiration. youtu.be/aQpGKtk2GbY
