Dismayed to see further disorder last night. Violence is always wrong. I have been in constant contact throughout last night with PSNI and in contact with local elected representatives. This disorder and violence must stop and justice be allowed to prevail.

Tommy Gallagher was well respected, who never forgot his roots. He took time to speak with everyone, regardless of political beliefs. Something I always appreciated. He fought for the betterment of people in this area. My sympathies are with his family who are grieving his loss.

Absolutely agree Roy. Glorifying past criminals and terrorists sanitises the horror they brought to the community and sends completely the wrong message to today’s impressionable young people.

Police are currently dealing with a multi-vehicle collision on the A5, approximately 3 miles from Ballygawley. Diversions are in operation but there will inevitably be delays and tailbacks. Please take an alternative route if possible.

Appeal is valid route to take but the Minister must level with people. Work will not commence any time soon. Minister should look urgently at what other steps can be taken to make A5 safer, deal with climate change targets & work fairly with landowners impacted by DfI failures.
