We would like to thank crews from Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service who this evening attended our #Belfast site after the discovery of a small fire.

A well-practiced evacuation was undertaken. All personnel safe & accounted for, and the fire is out.

The safety of all personnel is our #1 priority.

I’ve had numerous messages today regarding the dangerous pothole at the jctn of East Link Road / Old Dundonald Road. I spoke directly with Department for Infrastructure to raise the need for an urgent repair. Several vehicles already damaged. Section office need to prioritise this.

Stormont Estate is to remain closed today to include the playpark and civil service playing fields. This is due to the high winds from Storm Kathleen and the potential risk of trees falling.

The Park Run has also been cancelled.
