According to Mortimer, "Physical Chemistry", hydrolysis involves a reaction with water. Electrolysis of water is therefore not a form of hydrolysis, as someone posted on LinkedIn.

The idea of using lasers or telecommunication boosters with a monochromatic frequency doesn't make sense. You can only reduce the radiation at a distance effect by using a smooth combination of frequencies which decays sufficiently rapidly.

Found a strange comment, p108 of AQA Physics, that material dispersion is a phenomenon. The wave speed not the wavelength effects the amount of diffraction. Using monochromatic light for optical fibres makes things worse, as radiation loss is reduced with a smooth profile.

I don't see why drugs like cannabis are so frowned on now in the UK, when legalisation was common in the Victorian age. The NHS are happy to prescribe drugs without even having the slightest understanding of chemistry, a subject which incidentally was better understood before.

Sodium bicarbonate acts as a catalyst for water electrolysis even though it is a base. This is because it encourages the production of negative OH^- ions rather than positive H^+ ions in the half reactions. The standard entropy for the full reaction is different from pure water.

ninodirect is a scam. They claim to be able to send you a letter with your national insurance number, but they just take your money instead and don't reply to emails or telephone calls.

Seems strange we don't use fuel cells to create electricity and heat homes in the UK. If we understood this technology better, we could improve the design to create dual purpose fuel cell/electrolysers which would replenish the hydrogen fuel from water.

Found an interesting relationship between; a. Charge having constant energy. b. Force density being zero. in electrodynamics, in that if a is true to a stationary observer, b is true for an observer moving with infinite velocity relative to a and vice versa.

Why is it that Christians have followed Paul, who had a vision of light on the road to Damascus, and the apostles, who spoke in tongues, for over 2000 years, when they would now be classed as schizophrenics?

A smaller max current of 0.2 mA, with a pulse width of 0.03s generates the second fundamental radiowave frequency of 37GHz, for electrons fired into a sphere of radius 1cm.
