For our lab summer party this year, we had a great time bowling ๐ณ and commuting on the NYC ferry โด๏ธ! (We may have uncovered some hidden bowling talent as well...) Thank you MSK ScienceEducation for the Fun Fund!

The lab's 22nd student has graduated ๐! Congratulations Dr. Dan Worroll ๐งโ๐Dan Worroll on a fantastic defense!

Excited to share our work, new in Science Magazine: science.org/doi/10.1126/scโฆ. We explored how sex chromosomes, gonadal hormones, and their interaction shape cellular responses in aging and #Alzheimers mouse models. This led to key insights on Tlr7 and neurodegeneration ๐งต(1/5)

Check out this new review article from our lab! "Strategies of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) tracer development for imaging of Tau and ฮฑ-Synuclein in neurodegenerative disorders," written by Shekar Mekala, PhD and You (Emily) Wu. ๐ doi.org/10.1039/D4MD00โฆ

Excited to share this work from our lab, out in ACS Chemical Biology! ๐ โIn Situ Labeling of Pathogenic Tau Using Photo-Affinity Chemical Probesโ by previous lab member Pengju Nie and current lab members You (Emily) Wu and Shekar Mekala, PhD pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10โฆ

The Li lab bid farewell to Tanya Jain, Ph.D. last week.๐ฅฒ We will miss her so much but are very excited for her next chapter. Best of luck Tanya!๐ค
