Ontario Place along the water is essentially closed. Add to the list: Eglinton LRT years away still, Queen streetcar closed for 4+ years, St. Clair streetcar busted, no progress enhancing downtown public spaces, etc., and you really see why people absolutely despise this city.

RIP to the greatest living American writer of the last 60 years. Maybe my favorite writer of all time, and certainly my dad's. Absolute literary powerhouse. I'll never forget the first 3 times I tried to read Blood Meridian, and on the fourth time, how amazing it truly was.
