I was so frustrated when they stopped shipping diskettes and switched to CD-Roms only... I didn't have CD-Rom drive money at that point in my life.

I drove to the sub-urbs for a book signing... Woo-Hoo!

I've not posted here much lately... Suffice to say, I'm taking my own advice and focusing on my own needs right now. I'm well, and I'll be back. Just got a lot to sort out in the meantime.

Waiting on Jake to grab me a tool... With possibly just 2 weeks left in our place, the washer's pump failed. The choice was, spend $15 on a replacement pump, $350 on a service call, or use a Laundromat for the next two weeks... We're replacing the pump. Thanks YouTube!

The last two months have been the most stressful of my entire life... Tonight, I got news that it is all going to pay off... Tomorrow. I am fucking THRILLED and about to crack this open to celebrate.

We have found a new home, and settled in, and I find myself constantly finding these little moments of Peace... Change is rarely easy. And it isn't always worth it. But sometimes you have to make that leap. And in this case, I'm so thankful we did.

While hauling luggage through the @furfest lobby earlier, somebody commented that it was nice to know THEY hadn't overpacked... What's your must-have fur con accessory? I'll start...

I saw this, and I wanted to... But I only touch handcrafted, free-range, artisanal grass... Not that boxed stuff they grow in a greenhouse. It's really not the same.
