Superb day #walking the Victoria Lines Trail along ‘The Great Wall of #Malta ’ - 14 miles (incl. deviations) from coast-to-coast along Malta’s great escarpment and over deep wadis. The ultimate deterrent: built to protect Valetta & Grand Harbour - never saw a shot fired in anger.

There are nearly 400 churches in Malta - one for each day of the year. So appropriate that I finished today’s walk along the Dingli Cliffs with a glass of communion wine in a church square
