What pains me the most is the dishonesty to Sidney Crosby. All the bullshit about making the team competitive or better than last year but all they're doing is waiting for him to retire to start the next era. Very disrespectful to a guy who only comes around once a generation.

I say this as someone who enjoys going to Nationwide Arena and has #CBJ merch: The fact that the Penguins lost by 4 to the Blue Jackets is an embarrassment. The rented mule is now beating you. Accept it or change NOW.

Something else to consider: The 2023-24 Pittsburgh Penguins have as many losses and OT losses after 19 games (6-10-3) as the 2015-16 Penguins did after 28 games (15-10-3) when they fired Mike Johnston. Just stating facts, do with them what you will.

The next J*ke P*ul fight should be a tag team match where he and A****w T*** team up in a cage match against some rather hungry wolves

Glad to see the Steelers win, because 1) I root for the Steelers 2) I do not root for the Ravens 3) Mike T is one away from securing another season of .500 or higher, which will undoubtedly piss off his haters #HereWeGo

Bingo. I can tolerate losses but not when you’re getting flat out dominated in every single one. It’s excruciating to watch.

By the way, if and when the Penguins give up 7 goals in a game at home, they should have a member of the arena send a paint bucket full of chili to the visiting locker room. Just to be passive-aggressive about it, lol

The bridesmaid finally becomes the bride. After multiple recommendations to me and our listeners, it is time for me and @TheeRyanKearns to talk about the 2005 album "I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning" by Bright Eyes on this week's Hey, Listen to This!. open.spotify.com/episode/3PjyRR…

One of the underratedly frustrating elements of the Penguins' downfall this season is seeing the rising tides of Canadian pundits smoking their metaphorical victory cigars seeing Sidney Crosby and Kyle Dubas not succeeding. "Sixty-seven" may need to become the new "1940".

Pickering logged just 12:09 of ice time, which was more than only Sam Poulin (9:05), Matt Nieto (11:06), and Kevin Hayes (11:26). His top-pair defense partner, Kris Letang, played 23:47. The next-closest defenseman to Pickering was Ryan Graves with 15 minutes.
