“Danel please return -my- hammer...”

“Yes indeed. I was using it, and I was going to make -you- something...” Nods. “It seems now we shall never know...”

Recalls something about possession being nine-tenths of the law. Nevermind. “I was going to give it back Danel—and in a very special way at that. I would never keep it on purpose.”

“And you threw it at me...” Pauses, letting that sink in. “...Which lends me to believe that I could put it to better use.” He grinned after a few moments, giving her a wink.

The Elf Lord tilted his head, leaning in to look her dead in those emerald eyes. “Indeed...you -are- special. Unlike all the rest. Exquisite. Unique. Beautiful.”

“Eru no! Speak not that Bastard’s name!” His fair appearance seemed to grow terrible at the mention of his Enemy before fading once more. “I discover beauty often unlooked for. And that, my dear Danel is the most precious of all.”

The Elf Lord visibly cringed, not trying to hide his disgust at her playing with that plaything. “I will pretend that I did not hear that.”

“Hilarious indeed.”, the Lord replied, his ton dripping with sarcasm and disgust.

“Fair according to whom, dearest Nerdanel?” He narrowed his gaze at her, seeking an answer. “And since when did the Fiery Danel care about the standards and opinions of others.” He paused. “You are a blazing star and need not be burdened by the opinions of others.”

“I covet no one and know not what you speak of. As for that Bastard...I will end him soon enough!”

“It seems I am being ganged up on...” Mock rolls his eyes.

“Think what you will, Danel. I have had no wine, and my heart and mind are thus made up.”
