We're delighted to launch: The Rest Reading Group from artist Niki Colclough. As part of our Climate Justice NPO programming funded by @ace_nation we will engage with texts that focus on rest as gentle resistance. First 'How to Do Nothing' by jenny odell Melville House

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we've decided to postpone our Environmental Justice questions workshop with Harun Morrison until the new year 🌱 Keep a look out for the new date in 2024! We hope to see you then ✨

Join us on Thursday 23/11 for The Rest Reading Group where we'll read Katherine May's 'Wintering' Ebury Publishing together. The group meets monthly to read texts that discuss ideas of rest: as gentle resistance and a way of dealing with the climate crisis bit.ly/3SvOi1T

We’re delighted to announce we've received Historic England's Everyday Heritage grant for our project with artists Dave Evans & Melissa Kains celebrating Quadrant Park, the country’s first all night rave and nightclub, which was in Bootle! 📷: Mark McNulty #EverydayHeritage

Today we did a presentation about our The National Lottery Heritage Fund North ‘Bootle jam factory’ project. We met a lady whose mum worked at Hartley’s, she remembered her hands stained red from the fruit. The best thing about this research is capturing these nuggets🤩🤩 #jam #heritage Sefton Libraries

Just picked this up at Bootle Library and it's sublime, absolutely beautiful. Well done to all involved 👏💖 Sefton Libraries At the Library

Thanks to Sefton Libraries At the Library for our visit and workshop on air pollution yesterday. We enjoyed using the air quality monitors and it made us aware of the local air pollution. Thank you for the opportunity. St Joseph Catholic Multi Academy Trust #ecowarriors

After all the horror of what’s happened in Southport, it’s been a real privilege to work with young people (and their grown-ups) in Sefton Libraries over the last 2 days exploring protest and the things that they are passionate about. There is hope for the future! #LoveSefton
