This year I only had two ss who knew about #Thanksgiving! Today during Word Study, we read "I Am Thankful" to see what this holiday looks like for some families (we loved the poetic rhyming!), learned about synonyms, and practiced choosing one to use in a "5 Star" sentence.

Recent #scienceofreading studies tell us that fluency is extremely important when assessing ss reading. What better way to practice those skills during the holiday season than with some Readers Theatre plays? #TeachMeMrsC
