Single word reductive Ofsted judgments are contributing to a recruitment & retention crisis and driving poor mental health outcomes for staff.
Regrettably, they are used by the current Government to crudely categorize schools, which is why there is little appetite for reform.

The only thing that might potentially change Ofsted is a change of government, because Ofsted is now the enforcement wing of the DfE. Sorry if that sounds cynical but it's just the truth.
