Tang Cam Phung Pham and Andrea Irazoki recently tested the reproducibility of the rotarod. We tested the same 14 mice 1 week apart. The correlation between the 1st and 2nd week was quite disappointing. Does anyone #myotwitter have similar experiences? Input/insights would be greatly appreciated

Model matters 🐭 Fired up to share my first 1st-author publication in Frontiers - Physiology !! We characterized ex vivo contractile properties in hindlimb muscles of common mouse strains. Both notable distinctions & tight similarities were observed #myotwitter frontiersin.org/articles/10.33…

Took some days to digest that my #phdlife came to an end. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for my fantastic supervisors @lykkesylow and Erik A. Richter, family, and all the wonderful people I met and work with during this journey. Thank you Molecular Physiology UCPH Institut for Idræt og Ernæring @BiomedUCPH

Can we alter glucagon receptor signaling outcomes by changing it’s localization within the cell? Yes, we can! Let me explain how (and why that matters). (1/7) Revathi Sekar @kmotzler Helmholtz Diabetes Center (HDC) Helmholtz Munich | @HelmholtzMunich Cell Metabolism Cell Press tinyurl.com/y5fbu2bc

Very excited to hear Steffen H. Raun present some of our latest work on Rac1 and muscle exercise adaptation. Some of it unpublished so looking forward to hearing your thoughts. #muscle @BiomedUCPH Institut for Idræt og Ernæring UCPH Healthscience #myotwítter

In press! Luca Delfinis, PhD in our lab found cancer causes weakness in quads + diaphragm BEFORE atrophy BUT quads recover 'specific' force once atrophy occurs Can we embrace muscle heterogeneity and the power of compensation in mice to guide new therapies? insight.jci.org/articles/view/…

I am perhaps a bit biased…🤷♀️ but this will be a fantastic opportunity to hear about a hot topic with very cool unpublished data🔥 Not to mention the great speakers Lisbeth L. V. Møller and Mona Ali 💪2 - 3pm EST Monday april 24th Myogenesis Discussion Group @BiomedUCPH Institut for Idræt og Ernæring #myotwitter

A new page in obesity research: Thrilled to share our latest publication uncovering a new regulator! Thank you to everyone who's been part of this journey.🙏 Institut for Idræt og Ernæring @BiomedUCPH

A fun little read about the discovery of GLUT4 more than 30 years ago 😃 Nature Reviews Endocrinology UCPH Healthscience

Exciting news! My main paper for my PhD in the Christoffer Clemmensen lab with Pablo Ranea-Robles is now published in @naturecomms! 🎉 It delves into how the body is naturally defended against excessive weight gain. A🧵👇#obesityresearch 1/11 nature.com/articles/s4146…

In this work, driven by amazing postdoc in our team Andrea Irazoki, we found that adaptations to cancer in mice critically depend on housing temperature. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
