We had club competition for our women back in the early 70s Fiji Rugby Union. There wasn't any competition beyond that at district/provincial and national level which ultimately ended any desire for them to progress further. Most switched to netball and other sports that existed then.

12 months ago was asked to look after the ball kids for the All Blacks Wallabies. Got to choose the kids. Chose kids whose experience would have far reaching effects. Chose this wee girl because her favourite uncle was playing. She hadn't seen him for a couple of COVID years.
