Tomorrow is day 14 of Helene recovery. Our city of 100 Thousand still has no municipal water and 47% have no power. Cell service is still 0-2 bars LTE. Many outlying areas have none of these things. Schools closed indefinitely. So many lives lost, so many survived but lost

I can speak to why people are not being let up to chimney rock. There is a massive effort to redirect the river back into the river bed this is talking a huge amount of materials being delivered up the narrow road and the longer it stays out the more buildings are put at risk.

Kelce says since the Kansas City Chiefs are in CLT to play the Carolina Panthers Sunday, he wanted to come up and support Western North Carolina after the hurricane. #NFL

What Jason Kelce just said on broadcast is exactly what it’s like being a Mountaineer. There is just such a different culture than anywhere else. People outside of Boone don’t get why there is such a deep passion for App State athletics. I couldn’t be prouder to be an App grad.
