USD 497's gating criteria remains at the "yellow" risk level. The district will continue its hybrid learning model for 2 weeks. The next update is Feb. 4. Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health's guidance is also "yellow" so athletics and activities continue.

Due to the forecast for frigid temperatures and challenges with adequately heating all buildings, Tuesday, February 9, will be a Remote Learning Day. Wednesday, February 10, also will be a Remote Learning Day as originally scheduled.

USD 497 will be closed Tues., Feb. 16, due to inclement weather & the possibility of power outages. No remote learning and all school activities are canceled. Only staff performing weather-related or time-sensitive tasks at the direction of their supervisors will report for duty.
