I think whats been lost is the feeling of characters being "drawn" on screen. The black effects used to be treated like real brush strokes, transitioning between scenes and making it feel like everything was being painted live. In that sense, the white bg also acted as a canvas.

half of this is wrong but i do agree with the overall point of him being a bit disappointing for a gogeta. his animations were amazing and he was undeniably a great unit but i personally enjoyed just about every other gogeta unit weve gotten more.

its boring, but id also rather the banner unit at least actually be usable. and unfortunately with the stats they have there arent many other ways to od that besides insane DR or insane dodge
