South Carolina's boating industry generates $6.5 BILLION in annual economic impact and supports 27,100+ jobs statewide. We introduced the No Tax on Boat Loan Interest Act of 2026. If you can deduct interest on your car loan, you should be able to deduct interest on your boat

I’ve spent the last year working on a story about the Mellon Foundation, the mega-wealthy private nonprofit that has a monopoly on humanities funding in America. The article, about how Mellon has held the humanities hostage to its progressive political ideology, is out today. 🧵

When I was in my late teens, I got into books. Reading 60-90 minutes. I got a happy rush just thinking about getting in my cosy bed, turning on the bedside yellow lamp, and disappearing into a totally different world. I read thick books. Just so that I can stay longer in that

This feels Orwellian. He is lying straight to camera. And this is NOT just some sort of “pronoun” sleight of hand. He is saying, “It’s rare to have a female attacker.” It was a male!

They’re all just awful spoiled brats. All of them. This is what modern socialism is. A bunch of entitled rich kids with zero connection to the working class and a mean streak a mile wide, who have no idea how the world works or even what it’s like to have a job.

The Minister of Canadian Heritage says the CBC should promote “social cohesion,” a phrase frequently used by communist China. Today, I asked him to define it. What followed was rambling, vague talking points and zero clarity. If you can’t explain it, maybe you shouldn’t be

Amusing watching self-described leftists leap to the defense of a billion-dollar nonprofit created by Robber Baron Kids and helmed by an Obama-world Ivy Leaguer that plies 500 million annually in the service of economically-defanged identity mumbo jumbo in revolutionary garb.

This an incredible, incredible story. It’s about a massive fortune being deployed, grant by grant, to transform the humanities into an activist training ground. By ⁦Tyler Austin Harper⁩ theatlantic.com/magazine/2026/…

This has gotta be one of the biggest self-owns in advertising history. You literally spend millions of dollars for a 30-second Super Bowl spot to tell everyone you're spying on them, immediately destroying your brand reputation and unpending your business model.

When you quote a Islamic statement like this it is unfair and therefore phobic, because it makes some Islamic ideas look insane, which is also very Islamophobic

I keep seeing folks act like “scholar-activist” is some right-wing fever dream term. I use the term because it is *literally* the term many Mellon awardees use to describe their projects! There are tons of examples of this. This is not some framework I’m imposing to woke-bash.

So in other words, Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie defamed a bunch of random men as presumptive child-sex traffickers. Ro dramatically read their names aloud on the House floor -- Massie declared they were "likely incriminated" in pedo sex crimes. Oops, just a little whoopsie?

🤯🤯🤯 HR asked potential candidate to open ChatGPT during interview & ask, “Based on my past conversations, can you analyze my behavioral tendencies?” When she declined, the vibe went south. This is insanely scary & inappropriate.

“Everything is political” is one of the greatest brain worms of the last 50 years. It’s always trivially true and in this case used as a cudgel to pretend there’s no difference between scholarship that may or may not have political content and “I’m an activist doing activism.”

Jennifer A. Frey (@jennfrey) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It's telling to see how many humanities professors on this site cannot even imagine someone pursuing the truth for its own sake rather than trying to be political with their scholarship.
