Reactivated bartonellosis can be an integral part of Long Covid. Treatment helps the large majority in my experience.

I saw someone here with Long Covid reporting pain on the soles of their feet recently. It reminded me of Bartonella, but I was crashed and had to put my phone down. Classic symptoms of barronella are bone pain and pain in the soles of the feet (see reply for a link)

Recent bartonella patient: Was doing well, got Covid 3 times. After each case, bartonella symptoms flared up, got under control with re-treatment. Asymptomatic bartonellosis is common & Covid causes immune dysfunction. Long-Covid patients should be evaluated for bartonella.
