Is it just me, or has the "For You" tab become a purgatory for engagement bait? It's filed with overblown contrarian takes that masquerade themselves as questions.

This is the best argument for assisted learning, i.e. mentor-led courses. Even those books of old were better than whatever this process has morphed into. A sad state of affairs, to have to learn like this. I too suffer the predicament with variois tools and software.

Why just ask and be done with it, when you can open the possibility for a contextual follow up? How would you know? Apart from a few types of queries, most other things are better made into a short question (prompt).

Even with distribution aside, did you polish the product? Did you pay attention to onboarding, design, storytelling, behaviorally triggered actions, built-in promotion mechanisms, pricing, UX, etc. I can put together a bike using scrap parts, and it'll work, but who will want it?

Wrote this essay as 2025 wraps up 🥳 Just in time for New Year's resolutions! It's my attempt to pin down what "success" really means, in face of our deep commonalities. These are the universal criteria that I've mapped out. Let me know what you think. medium.com/@slavkodesik/w…

Disturbing! Unarmed people, in a country that's not at war, being killed in the street by the thousands. Whether these numbers are true or not (and it certainly seems that they are), it's a catastrophe that nobody is stepping in and putting an end to this horror.

Not to mention how the same advice can sometimes be devastating given a slight change in circumstances. People want to sound confident, but even more, they want to feel confident. Uncertainty is kinda unsettling.

Everyone is betting on the wrong metrics. Bet on people! Learn about their idea, about their execution, but more importantly learn about their story, and how it connects to the project.

Anyone building in EdTech? I'd love to connect, and discover interesting projects that are yet to take off 🚀🧑‍🏫

Most people on X falsely equate digital products with boilerplate SaaS. But there are still projects that require serious dev work, production, localization, expertise, brand ambasadorship built-in... AI or not, these have moats the size of the Mariana trench.

I find people on LinkedIn to be unbearably performative. And you'll be hard pressed to find more generative AI in one place — every post and every response is formulaic, to a point where they become NPC fodder. I thought X was bad, but apparently there's gradation to cringe.
