A huge milestone for BRAC as we launch our work in Ghana. In the next few years, we aim to reach hundreds of thousands of marginalised women with responsible financial services and scale livelihood opportunities to support them towards greater self-reliance and resilience.

It was great to meet Director General Bård Vegar Solhjell and his team at Norad to discuss our shared commitment to poverty alleviation. At BRAC we are proud of our long relationship and partnership with Norad to create opportunities for the world’s poorest and most vulnerable.

I joined Esther Duflo for a discussion on poverty and the climate crisis at the #PSECEPRPolicyForum in Paris. Climate adaptation must prioritise the 800m people still living in extreme poverty, who contribute the least towards climate change but are the worst affected.
