Our Peel Regional Police Auto Theft Team travelled to the port of Montreal to discuss issue of #autotheft. 8 vehicles stolen from Peel recovered from containers destined for export to be returned to their owners.

5 accused inclusive of one (21 yr old Amandeep Singh) who was already on release for other violent offences. Despite the challenges, our Specialized Enforcement Bureau continues to do it’s part to remove illegal firearms and the people who possess them from our communities.

Today, Transported Asset Protection Association Americas hosted the 1st TAPA Canada Meeting in partnership with #PRP. Peel Region ranks 3rd in North America for cargo theft. Over the years, PRP #CommercialAutoCrimeBureau has participated in multiple summits to address cargo theft

The victims targeted in these carjackings were 75 and 72 years old. Very thankful our team has made an arrest in this disgusting series of crimes targeting our more vulnerable community.
