911 operators experience an unimaginable amount of pressure with a high demand of calls. Along with Peel Police Service Board members, I visited Peel Regional Police Communications Centre to learn more & extend my thanks to the dedicated operators who work 24/7 to keep our community safe.

The communications centre receives hundreds of calls a day. If you’re calling 9-1-1 or the non-emergency line for assistance, please don’t hang up. It takes valuable time for communicators to call back, and send officers if we can’t get ahold of you.

Our Peel Regional Police 911 call takers and dispatchers are the best in the business. Grateful to them for always answering calls for help with compassion and professionalism.
