It is frankly bizarre for City of Greater Geelong to have laws policing access to public amenities, especially when you consider the ramifications for non-binary people.
City of Greater Geelong draft Neighbourhood Amenity Local Law 2024 retains its discriminatory clause 75f, changing it so a person must identify with the gender nominated in order to enter a municipal dressing room, shower, convenience or other area.
