We Are Ohio labor coalition not happy about the #GayleFail that occurred this week with Gayle Manning turning her back on unions and fellow educators. Over 100 unions signed multiple letters to her opposing SB 83, and none of us will forget that she chose politics over people.

Just a reminder that in response to the outpouring of opposition to SB 83 and the subsequent stalling of the bill in the House, the bill sponsor and other lawmakers THREATENED to make the bill WORSE. Imagine having that much contempt for the people you're supposed to represent.

Gayle Manning has accepted support from labor for years as a career politician. Last week, she betrayed working people and voted to strip away collective bargaining rights for public university employees. Gayle you failed us and we won’t forgive or forget.
