We would like to inform our community that the Brantford General Hospital Emergency Department is under extreme pressure. We are facing staffing shortages, while also experiencing a high volume of patients needing care. This is resulting in longer than usual wait times.

Air Orang landed at the now closed Minden Emergency Department. To transport 1 of 2 patients. EMS did transport from accident south of Moores Falls hwy 35. The Helipad is still in use. But no doctors were present to assist.

I think it's about letting for-profit #LTC homes (what we called "nursing homes" in the 90s) off the hook. It tracks for Doug Ford, which has protected & supported them even when it's totally not in the public interest (and with what Harris did in the 1990s to deregulate also).
