If we're going to have a "department of government efficiency", we should probably start with a conversation about how state DOTs spend billions of dollars of our money, and how little relationship it bears to the outcomes they claim to want. usa.streetsblog.org/2024/11/14/how…

Well the final stage of this site becoming a hellscape certainly developed rapidly. Planning to look into the bluer site. Connect if you are friend-shaped.

ATTENTION #Nashville: Beware of spoofing scam from those posing as MNPD personnel asking for monetary payment to satisfy a warrant, missed court date or jury duty in unusual methods like Bitcoin & gift cards. Plz DO NOT engage these callers & report it @ cutt.ly/aeCL9ZoZ.

First commute of 2025, I was hoping for a good start. At first stop sign, immediately get screamed at, then 4 drivers don't care if they kill me in 4 miles. OK. So that's how it still is in Nashville. So exhausting.

I can't be any more serious, if you live in an area of the US prone to natural disasters it is almost certainly built for car sprawl and you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ESCAPE IN A CAR. Buy an e-bike with hauling capacity for most prized possessions, keep it charged. I'm not kidding.

Yes the cold is tough, but what's worse as a bike commuter is having to take so much time reporting violent drivers (including some disgusting behavior from WeGo Public Transit #28-which I often ride, how's that for irony-at 7:30 this morning). Just exhausting stuff.

Dear Democratic Leaders: here’s a free idea, send members of congress into the buildings where Elons people are and see what they’re doing. Dare them to stop you. Do something
