The sun came out for yesterday's opening matches of the Sheffield and District Winter League RustlingsLTC and it almost felt like summer. Good luck everyone!

There was an excellent turnout for September’s social tournament RustlingsLTC. Sarah and Chris were champs of the day, each bagging a prize bottle of wine. Congrats to you both and many thanks to the players, and everyone who joined in the fun or helped out on the day.

There was non-stop tennis RustlingsLTC for yesterday's 2025 IntraClub Championship finals which included 13 singles, doubles, veterans and consolation events. Great weather, fabulous lunch, and superb tennis. Thanks to all who took part and helped to make the day a success.🙏

Judy & Martina triumphed to become Veterans Women's doubles champs beating Shirley & Denise in 3 sets, while Chris E & Chris S took the Veterans Men's doubles title in a hard fought 2 set match against Paul & Ajit. Chris & Pat finished in style as Veterans mixed doubles champs.

Paul & Rob became our men's doubles champions for 2025 successfully beating Billy & Dan in two sets, while Landon & Will were the proud winners of the men's doubles consolation event.

Rob took the Men's singles title in a tough three sets against James, while last year's runner up Wodu became our Women's singles champion in two sets against Mischa. Chris R came back from a set down to take the Veteran's Men's singles title with Chris S as runner up.

Denise & Martina partnered up to win the women's doubles title in two sets with Frankie & Jane as runners up, and in an excellent display of teamwork Alanna & Rob beat Wodu & Will in the closing match of the day to take the mixed doubles title. Well done to all of our champions.
