Bandana man strikes again!

Soldiers from the 3rd Brigade partook in Exercise Watch Tower, a Battle Field Study Tour in the Solomon Islands. The tour aims to expose our soldiers to Pacific WWII sites including, Henderson Field, Red Beach, Battle of Tenaru, Alligator Creek, and Bloody Ridge.

After a quick visit to Sydney’s best bookshop Berkelouw Books (sorry Robert Lyman 🇺🇦 - $25 second hand) I then took a brisk walk to the world’s best British pub The Lord Dudley for a read of the final printed Wartime beside the fire. Robin Prior Aust War Memorial

Today marks 80 years since the end of the Battle of Kohima, when British and Indian troops held firm against Japanese forces to secure a vital victory in the Far East. Join us in paying tribute to the service and sacrifice of those who helped turned the tide in #WW2.
