WebStorm, a JetBrains IDE As an WebStorm evangelist in our team I deserve it for sure :) #WebStormTip add --watch to Jest config template. Your life will be easier. Ctrl+B is life saver and makes it easy to navigate. Remember, you can use forward/backward buttons to move through recent places!

I was holding this back, but you know what, let's kick this hornet's nest. Many engineers are unprepared for the autonomy and freedom they demand. Most problems in business will not fit in your well-scoped JIRA ticket. That doesn't mean you get to ignore them until they do.

Here's Steve Jobs explaining object oriented programming in layman's terms in 1996 😳 State the problem 💎 Explain a concept 📈 Strong claim: 10X better 🤯 Big historical analogy: industrial revolution Perfect case study for every technical founder pitching their idea🎙

I wonder how many of the ~700 people opening issues mentioning a bump from MimeMagic 0.3.5 to 0.3.6 realise they're also relicensing their code from [whatever it previously was] to GPL 2. github.com/search?p=1&q=m…

Very interesting that #htmx (bigskysoftware/htmx), which is backend-agnostic, lives in Pythonia->Djangonia #django and not in e.g. Fronterra. Does this mean that HTMX is mostly used by Django devs? anvaka.github.io/map-of-github

State of #JavaScript 2024: Essentially, all front-end frameworks are either viewed negatively or show a negative trend. We simply have to accept: Front-end development and building a good UI is hard and changing the framework won't change that and NO, the grass is not always

Mmh... JetBrains increased the prices by 20% 🤯 I love their tools and every developer in my company is using them (they can pick whatever they want!). It's not that the new price is too high. But a 20% increase is a lot. Maybe I should go back to #vim after 15 years abstinence

Why the hell aren't the menu items in Copilot and Gemini proper <a> links? I’d like to open the entries with the middle mouse button or Ctrl+click. That’s always been possible in Angular/React and co.! But hey, as long as hydration is in every framework 🤦🏼
