6/ But this is THE BEST: Each CCS stage represents a target🎯 for therapy- opening doors for refined acute MI research. Novel cardioprotective therapies will have to STOP THE CLOCK of progressive injury- the CCS classification is the tool we needed to measure that. So-here it is!

7/ Hemorrhagic MI (CCS Stage 4 MI) is especially dangerous with post-reperfusion infarct expansion and strong association with mechanical complications. 👉Target 🎯for future therapies! If we stop hemorrhagic MI- we will save lives. Reference: jacc.org/doi/abs/10.101…
