So this is what being jilted at the altar must feel like. Boycotting all things ABBA, Volvo, IKEA and Spotify until further notice. And thanks to the Middlesbrough FC and Hammarby Fotboll fans who’ve battered me all day. Touché. The beautiful game eh Swansea City AFC.
If he signs I’ll back him, but Matos feels like an obscene punt - doesn’t scream ambition or bring any buzz. Hard not to feel there are better options out there. Will Still? Muscat? Not sure Rogers is as “out of our league” as people say. Underwhelming. Swansea City AFC
Anyone still in doubt about the task at hand got a reality check tonight - but some realism is needed. Matos has had one training session. The performance lacked certainty and was drained of confidence - both things that take more than a day to fix. Patience. Swansea City AFC
This whole clip is probably the most devastating political evisceration I've ever seen. Delivered gloriously by His Majesty's Leader of the Opposition Kemi Badenoch as she tears into the Chancellor's growth-destroying budget and character. This is a Prime Minister in the making.
Great to join Steven Carroll again on The JackCast. More Swansea City AFC off-field turbulence and below-par performances to unpack. Warning: Not one to listen to near cliff edges or bridges. It can't get any worse can it?
One last plug - I joined Steven Carroll to mull over the Swans’ current woes. I'm hopeful today will bring a turn in fortune. Bookmark it👇 Have a listen as we discuss the Matos appointment, recent performances and where we go from here - not exactly cheerful in hindsight 😂
This isn't what education needs. Teachers don't need more pay. They need more time. That's the primary issue within education. Those directing the negotiations need a re-focus. National Education Union itv.com/news/2025-11-2…
Always a pleasure to join Steven Carroll on The JackCast. Reviewing the WBA FA Cup tie, feelings heading into the transfer window... And looking forward to two massive home games to come.
Opposition parties shouldn’t fall for the no-confidence trap. Let Starmer lead The Labour Party to its May reckoning, then capitalise on the collapse. After that, let Labour’s factionalism finish the job from within. Win-win both short and long term. Patience beats grandstanding.
