Happy to have new work in print! We conduct a survey experiment to look at citizen perceptions of AI in policing. Coauthors Daniel Schiff, Kaylyn Jackson Schiff, and Josh McCrain are rock stars. Coauthor Ian T. Adams, not so much 🤷♂️.
First up--Dr. Hunter Boehme (PI) and his Co-I's: Dr. Ian Adams and TJ Geary (both in our department) and Gabrielle O’Keefe of RTI! They received a $1,000,000 grant from NIJ to study #mentalhealth and retention among early career #policeofficers in SC. Hunter M. Boehme Ian T. Adams

Next up! Assistant Professor Brent Klein Brent R. Klein, along with Co-PI Jeff Gruenewald Jeff Gruenewald, Professor at the University of Arkansas, has been awarded a $750,000 to study “Trajectories of Targeted Violence: Mobilization Trends and Interdiction Opportunities.”
In addition to his grant with Dr. Boehme, Dr. Adams Ian T. Adams was awarded $970,000 from NIJ along with his colleagues Josh McCrain (University of Utah Josh McCrain), Kaylyn Jackson Schiff (Purdue University Kaylyn Jackson Schiff), and Daniell Schiff (Purdue University, Daniel Schiff)!
