Still staggering to look back and see that it was the start of Thatcher's plan to wreck this country and flog it off for scrap value.

The Battle of Orgreave in 1984, was not a battle at all.

Margaret Thatcher tired of the strikes and unwilling to negotiate chose to use the Police as her own personal army, and carried out the equivilant of a medieval siege.

Then she blamed them.

I was so chuffed to see Lisa Mckenzie on the #minersstrike bbc doc.

At the same time was completely pissed they didn’t credit her as academic and author. A working class person would know how important it is to credit her as a working class academic.
