Might I gently suggest that a tiny fall in private school pupil numbers isn’t actually a problem?
State schools buckling. ✅
Very worrying levels of mental health problems among young people. ✅
Soaring numbers of kids growing up hungry & homeless. ✅
Those are actual problems.

Good @shelter campaign - I grew up on a council estate where my family still live so I know the difference a decent secure home makes.

We need more social housing for a fairer Manchester. That’s why Manchester is building 10,000 social & council homes - already delivering more…

Slashing housebuilding plans now is cowardly behaviour from councils that will make our housing emergency even worse, further impoverish their communities, drive people out of their home areas, add to crises elsewhere, and fan the flames of nimbyism
