It’s #controlroomweek and our Deputy Chief came to North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service Control Room to hand out more Jubilee Coins to our staff. He took the time to praise them for their professionalism and their importance within the Service
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service have attended reports of a horse stuck in flood water near Ripon. An officer trotted off to check out the situation & discovered a statue of a horse in the middle of the field. There was “Neigh” further assistance required on this occasion.
Today I had the pleasure of awarding Imogen her NVQ Certificate. Imogen has been working in the North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service Control room and during this time achieving her qualification to ensure the high standards and skills required of a control operator were achieved. Congratulations
