This is my first day as a Communication Support Worker for 3 deaf children. I’m excited to use skills and strategies given by lectures at the University of Wolverhampton. It has been an amazing journey, I’ve come so far I cannot give up now!

Excellent news about the possibility of the BSL GCSE becoming a reality, however I am concerned about the current lack of Deaf BSL tutors- lack of: training courses, funding, CPD (many are out of touch w/ the evolving community) these are what need to be addressed NOW before GCSE
