Thanks to The Lord Mayor of Westminster for celebrating #windrushday2025 at the Westbourne Summer Festival

Thrilled to host Luca Zucchi, a gifted student at the Royal Academy of Music, and Philip Cashian, Head of Composition. Luca is composing the 'Fairer Westminster Suite' which I commissioned when I came into office - premiering Oct 31 Royal Academy of Music. I hope to see you all there!

Ahead of #ArmedForcesDay tomorrow, we raised the Armed Forces flag to honour the dedication and sacrifice of all who have served- past and present. Westminster City Council has strong links to the armed forces as home to key military buildings & signatories of The Armed Forces Covenant.

A wonderful day at Westminster Abbey celebrating the annual Civic Service and historic between Westminster Abbey and the council. It was lovely to see so many people in attendance who have made my career as a councillor so memorable!

Being invited to the opening of a toilet was a highlight of the week. The Lord Mayor of Westminster and Westminster City Council programme to bring public toilets back up to standard should be applauded. Tap and go payments, well designed, lovely artwork. Good stuff.

Today we mark 80 years since the Second World War ended with Japan's surrender. It is a moment to honour everyone who served in the Far East & we remember those from British & Commonwealth forces who died to secure our freedoms - Westminster City Council is grateful for their service.

He’s a humble man and a civic hero in Soho. Great to see the Lord Mayor aka Paul Dimoldenberg have Andrew Murray Andrew Murray in for tea in the Mayor’s Parlour. Sadly neither Pancho Lewis nor I could join so more cakes for these two! The Soho Society

Fantastic to join Historic Pub Crawls® on a wander around Paddington and Maida Vale yesterday. Westminster has a rich history of pubs- each one with a story to tell. Cheers to walking, storytelling and the Great British pub! 🍻
