#ArtExperience every Tuesday La Motte where various speakers will lead walkabouts. This year is a big one for the farm: half a century under Rupert family ownership. Rotating artworks invite you to come again and again.

Almond blossoms showed the arrival of spring and #VanGogh loved the white blossoms & fruit of the tree. He painted this canvas when he learned of the birth of his nephew (who was named after him). This glorious painting was placed over the infants crib celebrating his new life.

#VanGogh's favorite saying was: "I would never recognize love that was not an action." His paintings: "The Good Samaritan" & "The Sower" give expression to love in action. Both of these works are about participation in the world by making an effort to improve it for others.

There are certain things in life that are genuinely frightening: things we should run away from as fast we possibly can. Born in Berlin in 1923 Judith Kerr had a horrifically acute knowledge of true fear.

You know the whole "left brain is analytical, the right brain is creative" tripe? Well, that's not how it works! My colleagues and I just published a new study on the resting-state functional connectivity of eminent creative thinkers and we found some interesting things about
