Met campaigners protesting proposed closures to rural libraries in Perth & Kinross. Libraries are a key part of communities & the benefits wide reaching. As Walter Cronkite once said: “Whatever the cost of our libraries, the price is cheap compared to that of an ignorant nation”

Perth and Kinross UNISON Scotland supports the 'Save our Rural Libraries' campaign. Libraries across P&K could face closure or reduced hours if proposals go ahead. These facilities provide many valuable services for their communities.
