I attended an engagement with officials from Uganda Cancer Institute, Ministry of Health- Uganda, Uganda Cancer Society & other stakeholders where we discussed policy issues regarding fighting cancer. Cancer is deadly, however it can be dealt with if discovered at earlier stages!

A Happy International Labor Day to all the Workers!

I joined Habomugisha Francis as he wedded his wife Susan. The two tied the knot at Rushoroza Cathedral & the reception was at Rushoroza Pastoral centre. Habomugisha is the Chair Youths Kabale diocese & Vice Chair Catholic youths in Uganda. I wish the couple a fruitful marriage!

I joined Mother's Union at St Philips Bugongi to celebrate Mary's Day. I had earlier attended a similar event at St Luke's Butobere. I thank Mother's Union for their contribution to the institution of family. I will keep supporting & working with them for the good of our society!

We shall always remember him! RIP

I joined the Councillors to pay tribute to the late Dr Bahemurana at the Municipal Council. We also had a requiem mass at Christ the King Parish - Kabale presided over by the Rt Rev Callistus Rubaramira accompanied by other clergy. May his soul rest in eternal peace!

Sad to hear the news of the death of Kabale Municipality Dr Pius Ruhemurana. He was a great leader, he was a pillar in FDC, he was a pillar in the Church, he was a pillar in Kigezi, we shall dearly miss him. May his Soul rest in eternal in eternal peace!

We presented our Alternative Budget for 2024/25. It focuses on reducing wastage & fighting corruption in order to achieve efficiency. It focuses on health care, education, human rights & job creation. It will be presented to the House & we request our colleagues to support it!
