Stephanie Hall, PhD @LincolnTech Sadly not a new tactic. Recall that other companies created their own loan programs even though they knew those loans would never be repaid. But under the annual 90-10 accounting, the revenue form the loans counted in the 10 percent side of the equation
Per the The Chronicle of Higher Education’s updated style guide: Reporters are encouraged to think twice before using the term “elite colleges,” and to ask ourselves instead if we mean to emphasize their wealth or selectivity. I applaud the scrutiny of this lame, catch-all term.
I think all exams should be open book. It increases note taking skills that are actually used in life and the work place and it would decrease exam stress. It’s unfair to assume all students can retain mass amounts of info. Exams should be application based and not a memory test.
